Michael (Mick) Slater, formerly of Barnsley Borough, West Yorks and South Yorks. Michael died in Barnsley Hospice on 6 December 2014.

Les Agar sadly passed away at Retford hospice on Friday 28 November 2014

Kevin Holden, for police sergeant at Mexborough, West Bar, Barnsley and Doncaster passed away in November 2014.

Vin Lowe, former police sergeant, sadly died on 2 November 2014 at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

Les Seaton I have been informed today of the passing of Les Seaton 95 years. Les was a NARPO life member of the Sheffield Branch who died on the 8th September 2014 at Broom Lane care home Rotherham. 

Ann Wood nee Holland passed away in Barnsley District General Hospital on Saturday 11 October 2014. Ann was a cadet at Bishopsgarth before serving at Huddersfield and latterly Barnsley. Ann's funeral took place at Barnsley Crematorium at 11.00 am on Friday 24 October 2014.

Former Police Constable Roy Coates, who served at West bar Police Station died in the Palliative Care Unit at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield on Wednesday 3 September 2014. Funeral arrangements are unknown at this time.

Former Chief Inspector Cyril Osborne, 88 years, died on 7 August 2014. His funeral took place at St. Andrew's Church, Psalter lane, Sheffield at 11.45am on Thursday 4 September 2014 after which there will be a private internment.

Former Detective Inspector Jack Longley, 81 years, has passed away. His funeral was held at 2.30pm Friday 8 August 2014 at the South Chapel, Grenoside Crematorium.

Albert Whaley aged 87 yrs, who retired in 1975 believed from Askern Doncaster serving with West Riding and South Yorkshire Police. His funeral took place at 3.15 pm Friday 1st August 2014 at Barnby Dunn Church, Church Road, Barnby Dunn Doncaster DN3 1TW, afterwards at 4.20pm at Rosehill Crematorium.

Former PC Alan Moore, 65 years, who worked at both Ecclesfield and Hammerton Road, passed away quietly at home after a long period of illness on 27 July 2014. His funeral will be at Christ Church Stannington in Church Street. At 12.00hrs Friday 15 August 2014. Alan insisted that immediately after the service all walk to the local pub, whilst only his family (wife Janet and son and daughter) go to Grenoside Crematorium,they will then join everyone at the pub for a drink.

Former PS Derek Reeve, who served in the old B Division most of his service died on 27 July 2014. His will be held at York Crematorium on Friday 8th August at 2.20pm.

Ex-Chief Superintendent Allen Robinson passed away peacefully on June 10, 2014 aged 86 years.  Committal at Grenoside Crematorium, North Chapel on Tuesday June 24 at 11.00 am followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Wisewood Methodist Church at 12 noon. Family flowers only, donations if desired for St. Luke’s Hospice may be sent to John Fairest Funeral Home, 10-56 Penistone Road North, Wadsley Bridge, Sheffield.

Former DC Drew Marriott of Hammerton Road Police Station died. Details of his funeral are unknown.

Former PC David Selwood of Woodseats Police Station died. His funeral took place at 2.00pm on Tuesday 3 June 2014 at Hutcliffe Wood crematorium.

Former Inspector Raymond (Nutty) Howard , 83 years died at his home on Sunday, 18th May, 2014. His funeral took place at 11.45am Thursday 29 May 2014 at Grenoside Crematorium.

Brian Monaghan, former detective sergeant in the Force Stolen Vehicle Squad died on Sunday 20 April 2014. His funeral took place at 3.30pm on Friday 2 May 2014, at Exeter Crematorium.

Ian Elcock, 82 years, ex-West Riding Constabulary, Doncaster and Goldthorpe died on 15 April 2014. His funeral took place at noon on Tuesday 22 April 2014, at Stiilingfleet Parish Church, York. 

John Irvine Campbell, 68 years, ex-Mounted Department died on 15 April 2014, his funeral took place at Ardesley Crematorium at 1.30pm on Thursday 24 April 2014.

Arnold SMALES, former Inspector from A3 Sub-division (Mexborough) died on Friday 7 March 2014. His funeral took place on Friday 21 March 2014 at 2.15pm at All Saints Church, Arksey, Doncaster.

Albert LYTHGOE, former Chief Inspector died recently. His funeral will took at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium, Sheffield at 1.00pm on Tuesday 4 March 2014.

Former PC 629 Geoff GREEN died at 8.00am on Friday 21 February 2014. His funeral took place at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium, Sheffield at 11.30am on Friday 7 March 2014. 

Former Chief Superintendent William Hunter STARK, died on 16 February 2014, 75 years. His funeral took place at the Mother of God Church, Abbeydale Road, Sheffield at 11.30am on Thursday 27 February 2014.

Michael BUXTON, died on 7 February. Mick was the "Bradfield bobby" for most of his service. His funeral took place at Grenoside Crematorium (North Chapel) at 10.15am on Thursday 20 February. 

Fredrick Dennis (Alec) HASTINGS, 87 years. Alec was a bobby at West Bar in the 1950's & 60's. His funeral took place at City Road, at 1.45pm on Friday 7th February.
